The Inergy demand control system was installed in conjunction with our 8 kW solar system in late 2019. Almost immediately, the Inergy demand control system was instrumental in identifying power loads that we could defer to off-peak power periods, thus reducing our monthly power bills. It continues to be a valuable tool to fine-tune our power usage. The intuitive mobile app and web-based interface makes it easy to continue to monitor and balance our power usage.   Clearly, the most important function of the Inergy demand control system is to automatically limit power demand usage during on-peak rate periods. Based on a demand threshold that we set, our high power usage appliances will be paused to prevent exceeding that threshold. We are an SRP customer and high power usage during on-peak periods can really drive up our monthly power bill.
